CBI Partnerships

For the 2015 pilot year, USU partnered exclusively with the City of Logan, but has since expanded to partner with other local governments and non-profits. Non-profits and local governments interested in becoming Community Partners should view the CBI Partnership Program webpage.

CBI Community Partners each undergo the application process where partners are given the opportunity to submit project ideas. Project ideas are then be vetted and prioritized the community partner organization, and a final list is submitted to the Center for Community Engagement at USU.

CCE, with the assistance of the USU Provost’s Office, will work to identify courses or faculty best prepared to address each issue and develop appropriate projects. Students provide capacity and a fresh perspective to the local community partners, while in turn are given greater depth to course content and an opportunity to apply course material and life skills.
